Before you choose

Which plan is right for my site?
If the site is mostly informational and changes rarely, Essential Security covers the fundamentals: updates, security, backups and monitoring. If the site brings in enquiries or revenue, Business Care adds performance work and monitoring for the things that quietly break — forms, links, Core Web Vitals. If you want the site handled entirely, including small fixes and content changes, that is Complete Care.
My site already has malware. Can I just sign up?
Not straight away, and that is deliberate. A pre-existing infection is handled as a quoted one-time cleanup first, so the site starts its plan clean and you are not paying monthly for a problem that needs solving once. The malware cleanup page explains the whole process.
I run more than one website. How does that work?
Plans are per site. Each site gets its own plan, and they do not need to match — a brochure site on Essential Security can sit alongside a shop on Complete Care. Each site gets its own monitoring, its own backups and its own report.
What is virtual patching?
When a vulnerability is disclosed in a plugin or theme, there is a gap between the disclosure and the official fix being released and applied. Virtual patching, powered by Patchstack, blocks the attack at the firewall during that gap — so the site is protected the same day the vulnerability becomes known, not whenever the plugin author ships an update.
How does yearly billing work?
Business Care is £499 +VAT per year and Complete Care is £799 +VAT per year — up to 15% less than paying month to month. Essential Security is billed monthly. Monthly plans are rolling, so you are not locked into a long contract to get started.
What happens if an update breaks something?
Updates run on a schedule, and if one causes a conflict it is rolled back and investigated before we try again. On Complete Care, major updates are tested on a staging copy of your site first, so the live site never sees a change until it has passed. Every plan keeps off-site backups with 50-day retention, so there is always a known-good version to return to.
